“Intelligent” humans, I am told,
Say man evolved from me, in times of old.
But when did you ever see a Mommy monkey
Kill her own baby before the light of day it could see.
Nor what brother chimpanzee would ever kill
His own kind with a gun his blood to spill.
My cousin gorilla would never dare
Drink himself into his own grave bare.
Did ever you hear of a baboon that would his mate beat
Or even abuse his own young to treat.
What self-respecting gorilla did you ever hear
Fence in his own banana patch not to share.
The proud gibbon would never conceive
To rape another gibbon’s wife, this you may believe.
Evolution implies that man is at his highest state
Evolving higher and higher to a more perfect man to create.
But the evidence does not support the “fact” that man is the product
of evolution,
Rather that he is the pitiful remains of “devil”ution.
That man has descended it is plain to see,
But this I KNOW, he did not descend from the likes of me.
